Carmen (Espinoza) Martin 80, of Toledo passed away on Friday, August 14, 2009 at Hospice. Carmen was born in Rosebud, Texas on December 11. 1928 to Luis and Maria (Constancio) Espinoza. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years Larry Martin Sr.; children, Carmen, Rosemary (Eddie) Flores, Larry, Arlene Ruiz of Austin, TX, Betty Anzaldua, Helen (Paul) Hawkenson, of Nashville, TN, Robert (Irene), Jerry, Mary Lou (David) Castilleja, Joan, Harry, Tony (Julie), Sandy, Dan (Tina); sister, Evarista Mosqueda; brothers, Mike and Tom Espinoza; 41 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Frank; grandson, Anthony J.; son-in-laws Abelardo Anzaldua and Louis Ruiz, brothers, Andres, Victoriano, Silverio (Jim); sisters, Genoveva, Delores, Basilia (Chila') Urias and Narcisa (Mary) Martin. She retired from A & Z. She was known for her wonderful cooking and hospitality. She was kind and gentle spirit and will be greatly missed by all. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road from 2 to 9 pm on Monday where the Rosary will be recited at 7pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:15 am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd Church beginning at 10am. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park .
