Carol Ann Barailloux, 73, of Chester, New Hampshire and formerly of Oregon, Ohio went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 7, 1944 to Captain Wayne and Phyllis (Davis) Williams. She was a 1962 graduate of Waite High School and earned a Bachelors of Elementary and Special Education degree and a Masters in Elementary Administration and Supervision degree from the University of Toledo. Carol worked as special education teacher and retired from Toledo Public Schools as principal of Navarre Elementary in 2004. Professionally, Carol was a member of the Toledo Federation of Teachers and Toledo Association of Administrative Personnel. In 2005, she was inducted as a Distinguished Waite High School Alumni. Carol enjoyed crafting, traveling to visit family (especially using Amtrak), and being an active member of the community.
Carol is survived by her children Christopher Calhoun, Gregory ( Staci) Calhoun, and Melissa ( Brian) DeLuca; grandchildren, Cooper ( Shelby) Calhoun, Barrett Calhoun, Ashley DeLuca, Alycia DeLuca, Ryder DeLuca, and Brandon (Angelica) Barailloux; great-grandchildren, Corey, Ethan, and Brianna Barailloux; siblings, Jim ( Sherry) Snider, Bill ( Denise) Snider, and Sue Winterhalter; along with countless nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Robert "Red" Snider; and husband, Jesse Barailloux.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Mercy Cancer Center- Perrysburg. www.egglestonmeinert.com
