Carol L. Carr, 71, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 22, 2008, in Bay Park Community Hospital. Carol was born in Toledo on July 29, 1936, to Lee and Zelma (Mead) Myers. Mrs. Carr was a graduate of Lake High School and Riverside School of Nursing. She served as a registered nurse for over 40 years, working at both Riverside Hospital and Luther Home of Mercy before her retirement. Carol was a lover of life and she enjoyed spending time with her family and lifelong friends. She loved watching her son's and grandchildren's activities. Carol especially enjoyed taking care of people and was known for her kindness and compassion. She enjoyed her monthly lunches with the Riverside Past Timers and the Millbury Bunco Group. Surviving are her loving husband of 50 years, Neil; sons, Mark (Lori), Dale (Debra) and Brad (Cindy) Carr; grandchildren, Marcus, Kaycie, Curtis, Derek, Cody, Makaila, Morgan and Heather Carr. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dale and Armand Myers; sister, Bonnie Hame. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, Ohio on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
