Carol Louise Goad, 73, of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020. She was born in Lake City, Tennessee on November 2, 1946 to Dewey and Juanita (Nance) Dabney. She graduated from Waite High School and later married the love of her life, Jerry Goad on November 22, 1963. She was a lifelong member of Athens Missionary Baptist Church. Carol was a pillar of faith and absolutely adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerry; sons, Gerald Wayne (Christine) Goad, Gregory (Teresa) Goad; daughter, Diana Lynn (David) Custer; brother, Charles (Theresa) Dabney; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services will take place at Lake Township Cemetery on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
