Carol Jeanne (Hecklinger) Keller, age 70, passed away on November 15, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born in Toledo, Ohio to Donald and Caroline (Berman) Hecklinger. She graduated from Waite High School where she met her high school sweetheart, Marvin "Bart" Keller and they were married in 1968. Over the years she held secretarial positions at Toledo Scale, WTOL-TV Channel 11 and the law firm of Spengler Nathanson. Later she went to work at Libbey-Owens-Ford Company (LOF; which later became Eaton Corporation) from which she retired in 1999 as a legal assistant in their legal department, after 21 years with the company. Carol was always busy with family and friends, enjoyed belonging to the Spade & Trowel Garden Club and a gourmet group with friends for over 35 years. She was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church and served on the Altar Guild. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Marvin E. Keller; her children, Jennifer A. Keller and Julie L. (Bryan) Skrzyniecki; her grandchildren, Nathan Skrzyniecki, Leah Skrzyniecki and Megan Skrzyniecki; her sisters, Joanne C. Crandall and Elaine R. (J. Michael) Cutcher; niece, Laura Zylka; nephews, Paul Cutcher, Zoltan Ivan, David Keller and Gregory Keller; and family friend, Randy Schnee. She was preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends may visit on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616. Funeral services will be held at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E. Indiana Avenue, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be held at St. John Cemetery, 2471 Seaman Street, Toledo, Ohio at 2:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Zoar Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
