Carol Ann Olshefski's Obituary

Carol Ann Olshefski, 71, of Toledo, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Waltham, Massachusetts, on October 26, 1954 to Edward J. and Mary S. (Koper) Olshefski. Carol graduated from Norwin High School in 1972 and went on to obtain her Bachelors of Science and Safety Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She was a devout catholic and a member of Epiphany of the Lord Parish, where she attended faithfully. Carol had many passions in life from reading, listening to audio books, working puzzles of any kind to traveling to various tropical locations. She loved going anywhere that had a beautiful beach where she could put her toes in the sand. She was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She had a love of sports and was an extremely competitive person which she passed down to her two sons who excelled athletically. She was very supportive of their athletics and never missed a game. Her love and passion were evident in anything she did, but what Carol cherished most was her loving family, especially her grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her sons, Bret (Tiffany) Quiroga, David Quiroga; grandchildren, Analise and Evan; twin brother, Edward (Marie) Olshefski Jr., sister, MaryAnn (George) Haslett; and niece, Lisa Olshefski. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The family will also greet friends on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Epiphany of the Lord Parish-St. Stephens Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
