Carole J. Emmel, 64, of Toledo, Ohio passed away January 4, 2011 at Regency Hospital. She was born on March 11, 1946 in West Virginia and was raised by Cleve and Virginia Woodrum in Oregon, Ohio. Carole loved playing bingo, scratch off lottery, and camping with her new camper. She also loved spending time with her family, and adored her little kitty. Surviving are her daughters Holly (Tim) Brewer, Tammy (Mike) Hughes; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; numerous brothers and sisters; and special friends Denise Emmel and Stephan Paine. Carole was preceded in death by her parents and son Ronald Woodrum. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Thursday January 6, 2011 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her family.
