Carole R. Toneff, 71, of Millbury, Ohio passed away May 7, 2008 at St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born on September 4, 1936 in Millbury, Ohio to Glenn and Ruth (Hauter) Martin. Carole had been employed at Lake Elementary School as a librarian for 32 years, retiring in 2000.  Music was a significant part of Caroles life.  She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church where she was a member of the choir.  Carole was a member of Dendarah Court and sang in their womans chorus.     Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Michael; daughters, Michelle (Mark) Beck, Julia (Pete) Kohler and Glenda Hathaway; sister, Joan Flick; grandchildren, Erin (Ryan) Szepiela, Anthony Beck, Emilie Kohler, Andrew Hathaway, Trent Hathaway, Alison Kohler; great-grandson, Dylan Szepiela and nephew, Tim Heckman.  She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Randall Heckman  Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, May11, 2008 from 2 until 9 p.m. Dendarah services will be Sunday at 7:30 pm.  Funeral services will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1930 Bradner Road, Northwood on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Lake Township Cemetery will be private.   Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Caroles name are asked to consider the American Cancer Society or Calvary Lutheran Church.
