Caroline R. Hoak, 59, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 11, 2020. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 22, 1960 to Robert and Helen (Maenle) Harder. After graduating from Cardinal Stritch Caroline would work for Great Lakes Windows. On October 19, 1991 she married Daniel Hoak. She enjoyed arts and crafts and caring for her puppies. Caroline was a very simple woman and will be deeply missed. Caroline is survived by her husband of 29 years, Daniel; step-children, Mary Ray, Steven, Jessica; brothers, Rick, Jerry, Robert "Tiger"; 16 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
