Carolyn S. Bylow, 90, of Perrysburg, Ohio, died Thursday, March 20, 2025, surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born January 29, 1935, to Munson and Bessie (Shears) Vassar in Lima, Ohio. In 1953, Carolyn graduated from Waite High School. On May 15, 1955, she married the love of her life, Donald Bylow. Mrs. Bylow worked as a telephone operator with Ohio Bell and was a longtime member of Clark Street United Methodist Church. She loved music; especially Elvis; and treasured the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 69 years, Donald; children, Jennifer Wilkes and Steve Bylow; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Hunter) Sauerwein and Kerry Hoot; great-grandchildren, Zachary Landrum, Rynn Landrum, and Iris Sauerwein; sister-in-law, Carolyn Vassar; along with many loving family members. Preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Carl, Joel, Lawrence, Harriet, Roberta, Charlotte, Miriam, and Martha; and son in law, John Wilkes.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 10:00 am until funeral service at 1:00 pm at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. Interment: Restlawn Memorial Park. Carolyn's family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude to her longtime caregiver, Angie who lovingly cared for her during the last several years.
