Carolyn Faye (Lawson) Eye, 60, of Genoa, OH, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 5, 1951, in Pathfork, KY to Drewey and Sue Pauline(Shelton) Lawson. Carolyn was employed with Genoa Care Center in housekeeping retiring in 1996. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and housekeeping. Carolyn had a love for classic cars, especially her GTO and enjoyed going to 'œCruise In'™s'. Her family and grandchildren were most important to her. Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Gary F.; children,Wendy K. (Charles 'œRyan')Barnhart, and Robert J. Eye; grandchildren, Karraleigh and Kerrianne Barnhartand Grace and Grant Eye; sisters, Phoebe Turner,Virginia Bundy, Dorothy Hampton, Louise Bucher, and Leoria Braden. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul and Cleveland Lawson, and sister, Joann Lawson. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert and Pavley Funeral Home,Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. (east of I-280)on Saturday and Sunday,February 4-5, 2012, from 2:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday,February 6, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. with interment in Lake Township Cemetery.
