Carolyn B. Nadeau, 79, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at the home of her daughter in Shelby Township, Michigan. She was born February 6, 1924 in Port Clinton, OH to William and Matilda (Meyer) Held. Carolyn graduated from Clay High School in 1942 and worked for General Motors Hydramatic for 17 years retiring in 1986. Surviving are her daughters, Sharon L. (Richard) Shepard of Shelby Township , MI and Linda (Thomas) Gogol of Lee, Illinois; brother, Howard "Russ" (Louise) Held of Oak Harbor , OH; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Nadeau and brother, James Held. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, OH on Friday, September 12, 2003 from 2-9 p.m. with Scripture services and 7:30 pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and proceed to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
