Carolyn Ann Strauss, 68, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on August 11, 2012. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and often referred to as the sweetest person you'™ll ever meet. Carolyn is survived by her children: Catherine (John Lowe), Charlie, and Craig (Desiree), 7 grandchildren: Dominic, Jack, Macy, Brendon, Alex, Kaitlynn, and Luke, and faithful companion, Peaches. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Strauss, and mother, Juanita Henson. Friends may attend the funeral service at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 10:00 am. Internment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
