Catherine Marie Aldrich, 77, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at her residence. Marie was born in Evarts, Kentucky on August 16, 1940 to Robert and Charlie Mae (Carter) Newsome. Marie was a nurse at Riverside Hospital for 22 years, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, needlework, and cross-stitching. Marie is survived by her children, Deborah (Jeff) Romstadt, Jennifer Critchley, Nora Eckenrode, and Alan Aldrich; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Atheling; and siblings, Margarette Adair and Robert Newsome. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
