Catherine A. Robinson, 73, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2006, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Catherine was born on May 11, 1933, to Charles and Edna (Gray) Cottingham in Kingstree, South Carolina. Kitty was a singer and copyright with radio station WMGM in Georgetown, South Carolina where she met and married the love of her life, Pat. Kitty was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and retired in 1988 after 30 years of employment with Columbia Gas of Ohio. Kitty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all. Surviving is her loving husband of 56 years, Patrick; son, Patrick Jr. (Pamela); daughters, Catherine Robinson and Mary (John Crayne) Robinson; daughter-in-law, Sandy Robinson; 9 grand-children, 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and best canine friend, Buddy. Kitty was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas Charles; brother, David and numerous half brothers and sisters. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury, OH, on Saturday, June 24, 2006 from 4 until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 until 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. wake service. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Clay Township Cemetery. Contributions in Kitty's name may be sent to the Humane Society, American Heart Association or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
