Catherine M. Wetli 89 of Toledo passed away Sunday morning at Swan Creek Retirement Village. Kate was born in Toledo on November 25, 1915 to John and Mary C. (Comte) Naumann. She was a graduate of St. Ursula. On October 19, 1940 Kate married Lawrence Hans Wetli who preceded her in death on May 4, 2004. Kate was a longtime faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and currently a member of St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns. Kate will always be remembered as a fantastic cook, a person who shared her great ability of needlework making clothing for many. Kate was also an avid bridge player. Surviving are her children, Susan (Norm) Feck, Sr. Mary Lawrence SND (Cathy), Dick (Vickie) Wetli; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In Addition to her husband, Hans, Kate was preceded in death by her parents, son Tom, brothers Harold, Larry, Jack Naumann; sisters, Jane Naumann, Mary Rita Blanchong, Beatrice Healy. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Tuesday from 2 - 9 p.m. where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be held in the St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns Catholic Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd. on Wednesday from 9:30 until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
