Cathrine McBride, 66, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 surrounded by her family. Cathy was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 24, 1951 on her mother's 30th birthday to Gene and Nell (Landry) Kennerly. She worked as a waitress at Mel Berman's Restaurant, a parking attendant with Kwik Park Toledo, and retired as a manager with Dollar General. She was married to Richard Bacon for many years and later married Dale McBride. Cathy is survived by her children, Richard Bacon, Roger (Tricia) Bacon, Joseph (Valerie) McBride, John McBride, and Toby McBride; siblings, Carlin "Sue" Weatherholt (Dan Kerekgyarto), Martha (Gary) Romstadt, and John (Bobbie) Kennerly; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren along with many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and great-grandson, Avery The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 2:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm. Memorials may be directed to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
