Charlene H. Maggard, 65, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Orchard Villa. She was born in Monroe, Michigan on May 7, 1956 to Charles and Helen (Owsley) Raines. Shortly after graduating from Woodward High School, she married the love of her life, Frank Maggard Sr. who preceded her in death. Charlene worked at LOF for 15 years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, working crossword puzzles and shopping, but what she cherished most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Charlene is survived by her sons, Frank (Lynette) Maggard Jr., Joe Maggard; grandchildren, Ashley, Caleb, Dominic and Kylie; sisters, Christina Tiller, Rena (Louis) Opre and many nieces, nephews and loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Frank Sr. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Shelton Park Church of God, 8702 Douglas Rd. Temperance, MI, 48182 where the family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
