Charles F. Beals Charles F. Beals, 94 of Pemberville, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Center. Charles was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 6, 1923 to Caleb Fletcher and Essie (Meredith) Beals. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and was employed for 40 years by the S.A. Healy Company. Chuck was a generous, happy, fun-loving man with a quick sense of humor. He was a godly man, guiding his family to love and serve the Lord. Over the years he served the Lord's church as a faithful member, deacon, elder and treasurer. Surviving are his daughter, Judy (Denny) Miller, son-in law Tim Spann; grandchildren, Michael (Peggi) Miller, David (Laura) Miller, Jonathan (Melinda) Miller, Jennifer (Mark) Hyatt, Jaime (Spencer) Stewart, niece Carol Vaporean; 5 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, his sister-in-law Sharlene and a dear sweetheart Virginia Walters. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother, "Bill", beloved wife, Honey (Blodwyn) and daughter, Marilee Spann. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at Hope in Christ Community Church, 27631 Simmons Road, Perrysburg, Ohio where his funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Private Interment will be held at Lake Township Cemetery.
