Obituary

Charles W. Brossia, 74, of Millbury passed away Monday, October 30 at Hospice in Perrysburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Rossford, Ohio on November 5, 1942 to Elmer and Edna (Smith) Brossia. Charles was a proud graduate of Rossford High School and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a painter and mechanic at Chrysler Jeep for 33 years, before retiring. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, everyone's lawnmower repair guy and loved to camp. Charles is survived by his wife of 49 years, Daisy Brossia; daughters, Linda (Mike) Claussen and Tina (Craig) Bunn; grandchildren, Brittany (Kyle) McLargin, Chelsea (Jeremey) Gregory, Autumn Gregory, Dakotah Bunn ; and Trent; 1 great-grandchild on the way, Elliette Rose McLargin; sisters, Jeannette Okomus and Georgianna Shank. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bobby and Elmer Brossia. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, Ohio (east of I-280) on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
