Charles Paul " Chuck" Collins, age 60, passed away of natural causes on February 23, 2018. He was the husband of Suzie (French) Collins. They shared 33 years of marriage together. Born in Oregon, Ohio, he was the son of Kenneth and Joanne (Begg) Collins. Chuck was a graduate of Waite High school in 1976. He was employed by the city of Toledo and worked as a fleet operations mechanic for nearly forty years. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed many fishing trips to Canada, trapping, four-wheeling and antique beer can hunting. Chuck was a problem solver who often took on difficult and unwanted projects in the barn and around the house. His quiet, gentle soul will be greatly missed along with his quick witty one liners. But nothing was more obvious than his love for THE Ohio State Buckeyes including being an OSU Alumni Dad. He is survived by wife Suzie (French) Collins; siblings, Ken (Donna) Collins and Sherri Leichty; children, Meghan (Seth) King, Cortni and Morgan Collins, Amy (Jim) White and Josh Collins; 4 grandsons, many nieces and nephews and his best four legged friend, English springer spaniel, Buckeye. He was preceded in death by his mother (Joanne), father (Kenneth), and father-in-law Bill French. Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday March 3rd, 2018 with a celebration of life service to follow at 2:00 P.M. at Mainstreet Church 5465 Moline Martin Rd. Walbridge OH 43465.
