Charles R. Fisher, 68, of Northwood passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2009, in the Hospice of Northwest Ohio inpatient unit in Perrysburg. Charles was born in Toledo on June 12, 1940, to Charles A. and Anna V. (DeCant) Fisher. Mr. Fisher was a US Army veteran. Charles was an operating engineer for 33 years working for Henry Gurtzweiler and Jeffers Crane Service before his retirement in 1999. He was a member of Genoa Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his loving wife, Louann; daughters, Leann Fisher of Pickerington, Ohio and Holly Fisher of Perrysburg; brothers, Donald, Ronald, George and Larry Fisher. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ernie Fisher. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury where visitation will be Monday from 2-9 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Charles's memory may be made to either the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
