Charles G. Lanz Jr., 35, of Toledo, OH passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2005 in the University of Michigan Hospital after a courageous fight with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and non Hodgkin's lymphoma. Charles had been employed by Walbridge Coatings. Surviving are his loving wife, Billie; daughters, Brittany and Caitlin; mother, Linda Lanz; father, Charles Sr. (Linda); brother, Gary (Nikki); brothers and sisters in law, Linda and Paul Gomez, Butch and Cindy Schwartz, Matthew and Joy Schwartz; father-in-law, Henry Schwartz; aunts and uncles, Dale and Sharon Peters, Colleen Roe, James and Lisa Roe, Walter and Barb Lanz, Sharon and David Lanz, Jim and Nancy Lanz; nieces, Kelsey and Emily Lanz, Rachel Gomez, Angela Gomez, Meghan Schwartz, Emily Schwartz; nephews, Devin Lanz, Avery and Jacob Schwartz, Paul Michael Gomez. Also surviving are many cousins and friends. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, from 2 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Charles memory can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
