Charles B. Mims Sr. 66, of Lucasville Ohio and formerly of McKinley Street in East Toledo passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2006 in Southern Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. Charles was born in East Prairie, MO on July 14, 1939 to Charles Lee and Willie Bell (Straub) Mims. Mr. Mims was veteran of the US Air Force. He moved to Toledo as a young boy and worked at various jobs until his employment with Keystone Auto Glass where he worked for 30 years, retiring in 1991. Surviving are his loving wife, Rosa; children, Jill (Wesley) Ferree, Jacqueline (Kenneth) Smart, Charles (Khris) Mims Jr., Corey (Tina) Mims, Cheryl (Nathan) Benson; sister, Dorothy Tucker; 17 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William, Ernie, Clarence, Walter; sister, Louise Price. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Rd. Millbury, OH on Sunday, February 19, 2006 from 2-9 pm.
