Obituary

Charles R. "Chuck" OShea Sr., 77, of Oregon passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in his home. Chuck was born on December 15, 1930 in Toledo to Joseph and Mary (Szenderski) OShea.  Chuck was a graduate of Waite High School and was inducted into the schools Alumuni Hall of Fame.  Mr. OShea was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War.  He had been employed for 25 years at Toledo Edison before retiring as the building yard supervisor in 1990.  He was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ where he was a faithful member of the choir, past commander and member of Arthur Daly American Legion Post, 40-8 and the Edison Employees Association where he was a past president. He also was a member and past president of the Oregon Toastmasters International.  Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Dorothy "Dottie" OShea; sons, Charles (Linda) OShea Jr., Michael (Judy) OShea Sr.; brothers, Dennis (Audrey) and James (Kathie) OShea; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah) OShea Jr., Elizabeth (Ryan) Huntermark, James OShea, Josh Laston, Caitlin and Carly OShea; grandchildren, Christian, Alexis and Abigail.  Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Friday from 2-9 pm with Arthur Daly services at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.  Expressions of sympathy in Chucks memory may be made to Memorial United Church of Christ. Visitation: Friday, 2-9 p.m. Services: Saturday, 10:00 a.m.
