Charles C. Payne, 93, of Toledo, passed away on May 11, 2018 at his home. He was born in Palmer, West Virginia on September 22, 1924 to Sherman and Emma (Ski dmore) Payne. Charles is a Veteran of the US Army serving in World War II. He was a finisher for Shamrock Molded products. Charles loved to go camping and fishing with his son and daughter-in-law. Charles is survived by his sons, Richard (Jeanette) and Joseph Payne; step-son, Kenneth (Jeanie) Pinkney; sister, Olive Hostler; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Leona; second wife, Louise; son, Edward; step-children, Clara Mae, Harry; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
