Obituary

Charles 'œJoe' Shull, 71 of Millbury, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 23, 1941 to Charles Ball and Juanita Shull and raised by his grandparents, Joseph and Helen Shull. He was a graduate of Rogers High School. On June 12, 1997, he married Katherine Carpenter. Joe was employed for 40 years as a Journeyman Repair Mechanic with Craft Master and Con Agra Foods. He was an active member of Teamsters Local 911. Joe enjoyed dining out at new restaurants and longtime favorite, Anna'™s, on Woodville Road. He also enjoyed shopping for the best deal he could find at the local dollar store. Joe enjoyed Civil War and WW II history. Joe'™s true passion was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren who brought him much joy. Joe is survived by his wife of 15 years, Katherine; children, Sheri (Dave) Brown, Jodie Richmond, Patti (Tony) Gomez, and Tyler Shull; step-children, Bill (Yvonne) Collins, Annette and Jodie Collins; grandchildren, Josh and Jordan Brown, Brooke, Kenny, and Brandi Alderman, Macy and Maddy Gomez, and Angel Wing; sister, Betty (Curtis) Booker; and longtime family friend, Erma. Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Wednesday, October 17th from 2:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 18th at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
