Charles A. Wilson, 71, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 19, 2023 in his home. Chuck was born November 27, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to Kenneth and Margaret (Watterson) Wilson. On April 12, 1992, Chuck married Christine Pifer. Chuck worked in automotive aftermarket sales for over 40 years; recently with Ft. Meigs Auto and Schrader Tire & Oil. However, Chuck would tell you his true profession was being a racecar driver. He spent 45 years racing throughout the United States where he amassed a total of 55 feature wins and numerous championships.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 30 years, Chris; children, Christopher (Heather) Wilson, Chad Wilson, and Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Wilson; granddaughters, Cassidy and Kaitlyn Wilson; mother, Margaret; sister, Sandi (Dennis) Rutherford; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends in the racing community. Chuck's father, Kenneth Wilson, preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (East of I-280) on Sunday January 29, 2023 from 12 noon- 6:00pm. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the funeral home on Monday January 30, 2023 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of Chuck Wilson to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
