Charlotte E. Conner, 89, formerly of Oregon, Ohio passed away Friday, February 28, 2003 in Swan Creek Health Care Center. She was an avid volunteer for her church and an advocate for migrant worker's rights in Northwest Ohio. Charlotte was elected in the mid 1960's by the United ChurchWomen to represent them at the United Nations Committee
Meetings held in New York. Her other memberships included: Woman's Society of Christian Service, charter member, United Methodist Church; Friendly Center Community House Service Guild, past president; United Church Women of Ohio, past vice president; Toledo YWCA, past member of the board of directors and treasurer; Bethany United Methodist Church, member of the Administrative Board; United Methodist Women of Bethany, past president and other offices; Toledo District United Methodist Women, past officer; Church Women United, past officer and member; Ohio
Council of Churches, served the migrant community; National Council of Churches,
National Advisory Board; Yondota Chapter #317; Order of Eastern Stars and Ruth Circle, past officer and member; Oregon-Jerusalem Historical Society, secretary; Scouting programs, Den Mother Cub Pack #214 and Girl Scout leader for many years.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park. The family suggest that memorial
contributions be made to the Life Care Fund at Swan Creek or Hospice of Northwest Ohio
