Cherie Jeffries-Urbina, 57, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away, Friday, July 5, 2019 at St. Anne's Hospital. She was born in Camp Breckenride, Fort Knox, Kentucky on March 7, 1962 to Rev. Lawrence and Patricia (Patterson) Jeffries. After graduating High School she would work as a nurse's aide at Autumn View for 18 years and most recently the Anne Grady House. She enjoyed watching WLNB-Share-A-Thons and older T.V. programs. Cherie had a passion for helping others even one time rescuing a raccoon, which led her to the hospital for several rabies shots. What she cherished most was spending time with her loving family who will miss her deeply. Cherie is survived by her sons, Justin (April) Jeffries, Jason (Anisa Canas) Jeffries; granddaughter, Lacey Jeffries-Smith; siblings, Jennifer (Davey) Steagall, Maelee (Mike) Turner, Larry (Michelle) Jeffries; and many nieces and nephews. Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family.
