Chester L. Juhasz, 60, formerly of Birmingham East Toledo, passed away on June 11, 2005, at his current residence in Curtice, OH. Mr. Juhasz was born on May 10, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, to Frank and Mary (Liszak) Juhasz. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Chester was employed for 30 years as a foreman with Libbey Owens Ford in Rossford before retiring in 1993. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Mr. Juhasz was the owner of Hark'n Valley Kennels, where he raised Beagles and Coon Hounds for hunting and field trials. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a houndsman. He was a member of the Ottawa River, Monroe Toledo and Mid MI Beagle Clubs.
Surviving are his loving wife of 40 years, Sandra; sons, Ken (Khristy) and Chris (Carla); grandsons, Cameron and Corey; cousins, Larry Juhasz and Mary Ann Carnes and life time best friend, Danny (Patty) Adams.
A special thanks goes to Larry, Mindy and Chris at Lucky Farmers and also to Chuck and Diane Romstadt and Mary Ann Carnes. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends may visit from 2 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, where funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions in Chester's name be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Monroe Toledo Beagle Club. The family would also like to thank Dr. Wilson Felix, Dr. Charles Felix and the St. Charles Cancer Center.
