Chris Ann Poling, 65, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023. She was born in Oregon, Ohio on September 23, 1958 to Marion and Beverly (Deal) Hicks. She graduated from Lake High School in 1976 and went on to work for various employers, but most recently at Bay Park Hospital. Chris was an auxiliary member of the Walbridge VFW Post 9963. She enjoyed baking, traveling with her beloved husband, George especially to the Dominican Republic, but what she cherished most was spending time with her two sons.

Chris is survived by her husband, George; sons, Jason (Yasmine) Bachar, Michael (Ashley) Bachar; step-daughters, Monecca (Todd) Smith, Bobbie Jo Deason; step-son, George "Dueces" H. Poling, grandchildren, William Avshalim, Roza Christine, Baylor; siblings, Jim (Cheryl) Hicks, Ellen (John) Lucas; and many loving family members especially her loving aunt Doe. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Elara Caring Hospice. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Stacy Bennett for the compassionate care she provided to their loved one. They would also like to give a special thanks to Pub 51 for letting them celebrate Chris's 65th birthday.
