Christeen Peace Rodman, 83, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully, Wednesday,January 29, 2003 in her home surrounded by her loving children. Christeen was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky on April 25, 1919 to John and Pearl (Stringer) Bryant. Christeen was the manager at Fitzgeralds retiring in 1980. Christeen was a member of the Oregon Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are her are children, Norma Lee (Clyde) Jordan and Betty Jean (Bob) Metz,Wayne Ray Peace, Jack (Marlene) Rodman;daughter-in-law, Rosemary Peace; grandchildren, Howard (Patricia), Tammie (John), Tim (Pam), Debbie (Kyle), Pam(Todd), Melanie (Ben), Angela (James) Bob (Kim), Craig (Patty), Cindy (Ron); 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Christeen was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Peace and Joe A. Rodman; son, Grover Peace; her parents and her 8 siblings. Visitation will be held at Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday from 2-9pm where her funeral service will be held on Saturday at11:00 am. Officiating the service is her grandson, Dr. Tim Jordan. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
