Christina Mae Deal, 18, of Oregon, OH, passed from this life to be present with Jesus on Sunday, September 28,2003. Though a tragedy, the blessings she left behind through her voice, her heart, and being her true self are immeasurable. She was a loving mother, sister, and daughter to her family, and a trusted friend to her peers. Prior to her son being born, she worked with the Youth Worship Team at Solid Rock Ministries, an avid supporter of Toys-for-Tots with the Marine Corps Reserve in Perrysburg, OH, and volunteered in numerous programs while at Clay High School in giving to the community. All who knew and loved her will sorely miss her loving heart and soothing voice. Christina is survived by her son, Malachi Thomas, parents, Gary and Liz Deal, sister, Priscilla Deal, grandparents, Gonzalo and Lydia Herrera, Gary and Kay Deal, Ron and Sandy Nagucki, Uncles, Aunts, cousins, and other family and friends that loved her dearly. The family request that all donations be made to the family to help with the cost of funeral expenses and a fund for her son's education. Viewing will be held at Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home on the corner of Starr and Coy in Oregon. Times are 5-9 pm on Thursday, 2-9 on Friday, with services beginning at 10:30am on Saturday and final burial at Toledo Memorial Park on Monroe St. in Sylvania.
