Christine S. Brucker, 74 of east Toledo passed away peacefully from her short battle with acute myeloid leukemia, Friday, August 3, 2018. Chris was surrounded by her loving caregivers and daughter, Brenda, sister and sister-in-law. Chris was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 2, 1943 to Stanley & Gertreude (Zaker) Paskiet .She retired from Champion Spark Plug. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to casinos and especially her trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Chris was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents; brothers, Barney and Gene Paskiet. She is survived by her sons, Terrance and Branty Schlegel; daughters, Brenda (Dan) Dorfmeyer and Carol Schlegel; step daughter, Lynn Smith; grandson Chad (Carla) Schlegel; sister, Rosie (Don) Koch; sister-in-law & best friend, Kathy Brucker; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday from 2-8 p.m. where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery Memorial contribution may be directed to the donor's choice
