Christine Canfield, 87, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2002 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on June 12, 1915 to John and Lillian (Dorman) Oswald. Christine was employed at the Toledo Mental Health Center as a nursing assistant and was member of Heritage Christian Church. Surviving are her daughter, Dolores A. Petty; son, George Miles; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Canfield; parents; brothers, Carroll, Freland and Edward Oswald. Memorial services will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, 3665 Genoa Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551, on Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Christines honor may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the American Heart Association.
