Christine (Dence Moreno) Ochoa, 61, of Toledo, passed away on August 9, 2005 in her home. She was born on September 3, 1943 in Toledo, Ohio to Pedro and Dorothy (Dence) Moreno. Christine was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and was employed by Ivy Steel for 16 years as a secretary. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church and loved dancing, bingo, playing solitaire on her computer and pets.
Surviving are her sons, Pete and Frank Ochoa; daughter, Frances (Salvador) Espinoza; ex-husband, Alexander Ochoa Jr.; foster parents, Tim and Mary Urrutia; brother, Michael Michal) Urrutia; sisters, Mary (John) Flores, Irene (Mario) Juarez and Helen (Richard) Hoffman; several loving nieces, nephews and special friends; grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Dence Moreno and grandmother, Edna Dence.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2005 from 2-9 pm at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon with recitation of the Rosary. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 10:15 a.m. and proceed to Sts. Peter & Paul Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Expression of sympathy in Christine's memory can be made to the Ochoa family.
