Christopher R.A. Gibson, 36, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013. Chris was born on June 4, 1977 to Robert Allen and Gloria (Pacheco) Gibson Sr. On July 28, 2013, he married Tonya Grooms. Chris worked for Vitran Trucking as a dock supervisor for the past 11 years. He enjoyed gambling and following the Pittsburgh Steelers. His true passion was spending time with his family; especially, his children. Chris is survived by his wife Tonya; mother, Gloria (Paul) Rios; children, Emily, Haley, Kane, Victor, Cameron, and Hannah; sister Koren A. Gibson; step-siblings, Robert, Andrew, and Paula; niece, Bianca; nephews, Antonio 'œAJ', and Dominic; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Gibson Sr.; brother, Jamie L. Gibson; cousin, Marisol; uncles, David, Juan, and Moses Pacheco; and aunt, Rosa Pacheco. Coy Road on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 2:00 pm -8:00 pm where a rosary service will be conducted at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11:00 am in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 5153 Summit Street, Toledo, where the family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Willow Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Gibson Family.
