Obituary

Christopher R. Zam, 37, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 3, 2017. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 10, 1979 to Paul and Freda (Ray) Zam. After graduation from Waite High School, he went on to Engineering School at CSX Railroad. Christopher was a people person and enjoyed working as a cook at Bob Evans. He loved playing, watching and talking sports and was an avid Cleveland fan for the Indian's, Brown's and Cav's. Christopher enjoyed listening to music, watching movies with his family and playing Euchre, Poker and shooting pool. Christopher is survived by his mother, Freda; brothers, Michael, Randy (Karen) and Paul. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Zam. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday at Epiphany of the Lord Parish- St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 2018 Consaul St., at 11:00 a.m. The family will begin greeting friends in church at 10:00 a.m. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Christopher's name are asked to consider the Zam family.
