Cindy S. Achter, 62, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away after a courageous battle on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the University of Michigan with her loving family by her side. She was born in Oregon, Ohio on August 26, 1962 to Thomas and Kathy (Ryan) Roberts. Cindy graduated from Clay High School and shortly after married the love of her life, Rod Achter. Cindy worked in sales for over 30 years in the hotel industry. She was a huge Buffalo Bills fan and proud to be part of the Bills Mafia. She also enjoyed watching all sports. If you were lucky enough, you may have a story about Cindy making fun of her husband with her good friends Kim and Jan. She loved traveling to any beach or anywhere that had palm trees, but what she cherished most was her family, especially her grandkids. She never missed a sporting event or contest, traveling wherever she needed to be to cheer them on. Cindy will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Rod; mother, Kathy Roberts; children, Amanda (Ryan) Derr, A.J. (Kaiti) Achter, Austin (Abby) Achter; grandchildren, Jayce, Adleigh, Hayes, Ruby and Eli; siblings, Tommy (Kim) Roberts, Tim (Carol) Roberts, Tracy Roberts; best friends, Kim and Jan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
