Clarence "Bud" Eggert of Toledo, Ohio passed away in his sleep, May 19, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Eggert was born in West Allis, Wisconsin on July 15, 1929, to Clarence and Christina (Berthold) Eggert. He was employed at the Toledo Edison as a Rate Analysis Engineer for over 30 years before his retirement in 1989. Bud was an ambitious, hard working man who loved his family, and was very good and patient to all of them. He was always willing to take the children wherever they had to be. No was not in his vocabulary. Clarence was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church, Paragon Masonic Lodge, Zenobia Drum Corp, Edison Employee's Association and National Management Association where he was a past president. Surviving are his wife of 54 years with whom he just celebrated an anniversary on May 15, Darlene; children, Kristi (Dan) Pfouts, Todd (Carol) Eggert; grandchildren, Justin (Ashley) Pfouts, Christopher Pfouts, Matt Pfouts and Amanda Eggert; great- grandchild, Juliana Pfouts; sister, Clarice (Dick) Schmid, Milwaukee, WI; brother-in-law, Del (Nan) Ackerman, Naples, FL and many nieces and nephews and very good friend, Harvey Green. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Thursday from 5-9 and Friday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2008, in First St. John Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Clarence's memory can be made to Zenobia Shrine, Heart, Diabetes or Kidney Foundations or First St. John's Lutheran Church.
