Clarence William Houle Jr, 77 of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully at Mercy St. Charles Hospital on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 with his family by his side. Clarence was born on May 31, 1947 in Ashland, Wisconsin to Clarence Sr. and Madge (Schwiesow) Houle. Clarence retired after 50 years of service as a Merchant Marine Engineer. He enjoyed fishing and loved to cook and bake, known for his homemade breads, rolls and cookies. Most of all Clarence was proud of his Chippewa Indian Heritage and was a descendant to Chief Buffalo.

Surviving are his wife, Jennifer, children Clarence III "Chip", Charles, Brenton, Erica, Christopher, Amanda, Andrea, Angela; 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; brother, Larry (Jodie) Houle; sisters, Susan Houle, Debbie Heggie; uncle, Randy (Dawn) Houle.

He was preceded in death by his parents Madge and Clarence Houle Sr. and his brother, Dale.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, from 10:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
