Clifford E. Bihl
Clifford E. Bihl, 85 of Northwood, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2004 at Toledo
Hospital.. Cliff was born in Toledo on June 17, 1918 to Edward and Agnes (Gruenwald)
Bihl. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. Along with his fellow
classmates they were the first football team from Central to win the City Championship.
Cliff was a Veteran serving with the United States Army during W.W.II. He had worked
as an electrician at Pure Oil Company for 31 years then at Jeep for 15 Years. He was a
member of St. Jerome Catholic Church.
On September 26, 1953 he married the love of his life, Marguerite (Timm) who survives.
Also surviving are their loving children, Tom, Terry (Marsha), Tam, Tim, Nancy
(Michael) Rutkowski; grandchildren, Sean, Michael, Ryan, Angela, Steve, Jason, Ben,
Eric, Kara; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Jeanette McQuade. Cliff was preceded in death
by his parents, daughter, Teresa, sister, Virginia.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral
Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, Ohio on Wednesday
from 2-9p.m. and where Scripture Services will be held at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated on Thursday at 12 noon in St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 300 Warner
Street, Walbridge where the family will greet friends beginning at 11:00 am. Interment
will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of
sympathy in Cliff's memory are asked to consider Central Catholic High Athletic Dept. or
the Donor's Choice.
