Clifford C. Bury, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, 92, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 10, 2026, surrounded by his family. Cliff was born in Oregon, Ohio, March 29, 1934, to Milton and Lucy (Wolf) Bury. He was a 1952 graduate of Clay High School where he was a member of the FFA.
On September 24, 1955, he married the love of his life, Madonna Jensen and shared over 70 loving years together. Cliff was a lifelong farmer. He served as president of the Lucas County Farm Bureau, Lucas County Fair Board and the Oregonian Club. He served on Oregon City Council during the construction of the water treatment plant. He was a former member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Toledo.
Cliff is survived by his sons, Thomas (Kelly) Bury and Marcus Bury; grandchildren, Douglas (Kristen) Bury, Sarah (Joseph) Barone, and Jessica (John) Farr; great-grandchildren, Adeline, Clara, Anna, Elizabeth, Violet, Alice, and Lorelei Farr, and Lucy Bury; sister-in-law, Sharon (Luis) Pena; brother-in-law, Bill (Ginny) Mauter; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Madonna; and brother, Raymond Bury.
Cliff's family would like to thank his hospice caregiver, Michelle, along with the staff of Majestic Care of Toledo and Care 360 Hospice for their compassionate care and support to both Cliff and family.
The family will receive friends at St. John Lutheran Church, Williston, Friday, October 16, 2026, from 9:30 am until funeral service at 11:00 am, where a fellowship lunch will follow. Private interment: Oakwood Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church, 21140 West Toledo Street, Williston, Ohio 43468, or Care 360 Hospice, 1657 Holland Rd.
