Clifford W. Hoffmann, 64, of Woodville, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Arbors of Oregon. Cliff was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 9, 1950 to Waldemar and Barbara (Frede) Hoffmann. He was a 1968 graduate of Waite High School where he was an active wrestler. Cliff was employed with the railroad prior to becoming a Journeyman Electrician with IBEW Local 12. His hobbies included traveling and spending time outdoors. His true passion was spending time with his family and close friends. Cliff was loved very much and will be deeply missed. Cliff is survived by his daughter, Meaghan Hoffmann; siblings, Waldemar F. (Connie) Hoffmann, Glen (Karen) Hoffmann, and Marla (Dave) Stella; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant child. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor'™s choice.
