Clifford E. Measley, 74, of Northwood and formerly of Toledo passed away and was taken to a better place on
February 21, 2004. He was born on November 13, 1929 in Toledo to Clifford and Hazel (Alford) Measley.
Clifford was a United States Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War where he received the Purple Heart. He was a member of Arthur Daly American Legion Post. Mr. Measley was employed in the trucking industry for over 30 years, working for Helton Enterprises, Toledo Mack Sales and Service where he served as general manager. Clifford loved sports, especially baseball.
Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Lillian (Smith); children, Michael (Wanda), Janet (Keith) Culley,
David (Liddie) and Roger Measley; sister, Virginia (Thomas) Krasniewski; 6 grandchildren; 2 great
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald and Russell Measley.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Tuesday February 24, 2004 from 2 to 9 pm. Arthur Daly Services are scheduled for 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00 am. Intombment will follow in
Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. Expressions of sympathy in Clifford's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
