Clifford E. Staler Sr., 75, of Toledo, Ohio passed away January 20, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 14, 1933, to Earnest and Rapheal (Smith) Staler. Cliff had been employed as a delivery driver for 40 years, most recently with Peter's Plumbing Supply, retiring in 2006. He was an avid Bowler and enjoyed his sports. Surviving are his daughters, Sue (Tim) Hutchison and Kathy (Russ) Isaacs; sons, Clifford Jr. (Vickie) and Norton Bailey; brothers, Al (Mary) and Ed Staler; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grand-children. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edna; sons, Patrick and James (Pennie); grandson, Timmie Jr.; sisters, Velda and Thelma; brother, David. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, January 22, 2009, from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
