Huffman
March 22, 1940 – April 10, 2026
Clyde "Dee" Huffman, 86, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on April 10, 2026, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. Dee was born on March 22, 1940, to Chester and Mary (Carr) Huffman.
He graduated from Waite High School in 1958 and went on to further his education at the University of Toledo, where he earned his bachelor's degree. He proudly served his country in the National Guard.
On September 9, 1962, Dee married the love of his life, Judith (Marshall), beginning a devoted partnership that spanned more than six decades.
Dee dedicated many years to his professional life, building a long and respected career at Toledo Edison, where he served as a customer service supervisor for 33 years until his retirement. Following his retirement, he continued working as a driver for Communica Advertising for 20 years.
He was a faithful member of Christ United Methodist Church and the JCI, The United States Junior Chamber. In his younger years, Dee enjoyed bowling and golfing, but nothing brought him greater joy than watching his grandchildren play sports and cheering them on from the sidelines.
Dee will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the pride he took in supporting those he loved.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 63 years, Judy; daughters, Heidi (Jim) Jurski and Heather (Luis DeAnda) Romick; grandchildren Trevor (Kayla Manna) Jurski and Joslyn (Mason Peck) Jurski; brother, Gordon (Bev) Huffman; and numerous nephews.
Dee was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Mary Kay Karrick-Walters and Phillip Huffman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where a celebration of life will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with an additional hour of visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Dee's memory are asked to consider Christ United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
