Connie T. Adams, 63, of Oregon, OH passed away May 18, 2005 in Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born in Youngstown, OH on January 29, 1942 to George and Eliza (Castillo) Chavez. Connie was a homemaker and cared for her twin sister, Carmen. Surviving is her husband, Kenneth J.; son, Jay (Jennifer) Sorvillo, Columbus, OH; daughter, Carla (Robert) Hamrock, Youngstown, OH; step-children, James Adams, Susan (Kevin) Slater, Kathy (Thomas) Fulk, Joe (Tracy) Adams; siblings, Josephine Martinez, Jovita Umstead, Amelia Stefanoff, Phillip, Robert, George, Sr. Petra, Carmen and Henry Chavez; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Julian and Ernest Chavez. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
