Connie M. Alford, 66, proud resident of the "05", passed away peacefully Sunday, September 5, 2021 at her home. Connie was born March 18, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Yvonne (Cunningham) Cutcher. For 28 years, Connie worked for Toledo Public Schools in the cafeteria. She was affectionately known as the "Lunch Lady" to Spring, Sherman, Lagrange, and East Broadway Schools, retiring in 2017. One of her favorite pastimes was sitting on her front porch with a cup of coffee watching the children in her neighborhood. Connie's greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother, always willing to lend a helping hand and support and will be dearly missed. Connie is survived by her daughter, Moneick (Don); grandson, Andrew (Amaya); and god-daughter, Katrina Villarreal-Encalado. Preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services 12:00 pm Friday, September 10, 2021 in the funeral home. Interment: North Oregon Cemetery.
